With Genie SEO, you can add and track your desired keywords in a particular time frame. Unlike the keyword latest overview, you can discover the key metrics of your preferred keywords and discover their performance exclusively.
Let’s check out how Genie SEO allows you to find your site’s added keywords effortlessly.
How to Find Tracked Keywords #
Let’s assume that your GSC account is connected to Genie SEO.
Click the “Add Keywords” Button #
First off, navigate to the button “Add Keywords” and click it. A popup window will appear, asking you to enter your desired keywords. Start adding keywords one by one. Depending on the plan you are in, you will be able to add keywords.
If you want to remove certain existing keywords, you can replace them with new keywords too. Once finalized, click the “Add Keywords” button to proceed.
Set Your Time Frame #
Then, set the date range in which you want to view the keywords and their performance. You will have the following options to set the time frame:
- 7 days
- 30 days
- 90 days
- 6 months
- Last month
- Custom
Once you set the current time frame, the previous period’s time frame will be automatically set in the specified field. However, you can also manually set the time frame in the previous period’s field with the following option:
- Previous year
- Custom
After that, click the “Go” button to view all the keywords’ data on the screen.
Monitor the Keyword Highlights #
Based on your date range, Genie SEO will display the following keyword metrics under the “Highlights” section:
- Total Keywords
- Improved
- Declined
- Top 3
- Top 10
- Outside Top 10
From these data, you can find your added keywords, the number of keywords improved from there, the number of keywords declined, keywords ranked in top 3 & 10, and also the ones that moved beyond top 10.
Analyze Various Keyword Metrics #
The tool will also display various important keyword metrics, letting you understand your keywords’ performance. Here are the keyword metrics you can track:
- Top Pages
- Position
- Position Difference
- Click
- Click Difference
- Impression
- Impression Difference
“Top Pages” will show all the pages where your added keywords have ranked. If a particular keyword has ranked on multiple pages, the pages will show up in descending order (Keyword position-wise). Clicking the “+” sign in front of the keyword will reveal all the pages ranked for that particular keyword.
Right beside the “Top Pages”, you can find the current positions of all the keywords. Also, Genie SEO will show you the position difference as compared to the previous period.
If a keyword’s position has improved, it will show up with the position along with an upward arrow. If the position has declined, it will appear with the position alongside a downward arrow. However, if there is no position difference in both periods for a specific keyword, “0” will show up for that.
Likewise, you can track clicks, click difference, impression, and impression difference for all these keywords.
This is how you can find your website’s tracked keywords and work on them, depending on their organic performance. To download all the keywords’ data, click the “Download” button on the top-right and download in CSV, XLSX, or copy to clipboard.
