When you choose to connect your Google account to GetGenie AI, we request access only to the Google APIs required for the features you enable.

Currently, we request access to:

Google Search Console (read-only) to retrieve your verified website performance and search analytics.
Google Analytics 4 (read-only) to retrieve analytics data from your selected GA4 properties.
Your Google account email address to identify your connected account.

We do not request write access to your Google Search Console or Google Analytics data. What Google User Data We Store To provide these features, we may securely store the following information:

Your Google account email address.
OAuth access token.
OAuth refresh token.
Access token expiration time.
The Search Console properties (verified sites) associated with your account.
The Google Analytics 4 properties available to your account.
Your selected website(s) connected to GetGenie AI.
Feature-specific settings, such as tracked keywords.

We do not permanently store your Search Console reports, Google Analytics reports, or historical analytics data unless required for a feature you explicitly use.

How We Use Google User Data

Google user data is used solely to provide the features requested by you, including:

Connecting your Google account.

Reading Search Console performance data, such as keywords, clicks, impressions, positions, top pages, and country and device level data.
Reading Google Analytics 4 reports.
Displaying SEO and analytics insights inside GetGenie AI.
Maintaining your connected integrations.

We do not sell Google user data.

We do not use Google user data for advertising purposes.

We do not use Google Workspace API data to train generalized artificial intelligence (AI) or machine learning (ML) models.

Data Retention

Google user data is retained only while your Google account remains connected to GetGenie AI.

If you disconnect a website, remove the Google integration, or delete your connected account, the associated Google OAuth credentials and related stored integration data are deleted from our systems within a reasonable period, unless we are legally required to retain certain information.

OAuth access tokens automatically expire according to Google’s policies. Refresh tokens are retained only to maintain your authorized connection until you revoke access or disconnect your account.

Data Deletion

You may delete your Google-connected data at any time by:

Disconnecting your Google account from GetGenie AI.
Removing a connected Search Console or Google Analytics property.
Deleting your GetGenie AI account.

When this occurs, we delete the associated stored Google integration information, including OAuth credentials and connected property information, from our systems, subject to any legal retention obligations.

You may also revoke GetGenie AI’s access directly from your Google Account security settings at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. Once access has been revoked, GetGenie AI will no longer be able to access your Google data.

Third-Party Sharing of Google User Data

Google user data is not shared with third parties except when necessary to provide the requested service, comply with applicable law, or protect our legal rights.

Google API Services User Data Policy

GetGenie AI’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
