Detecting Low-Hanging Fruits

Low-Hanging Fruits of Your Website #

Assuming you have already installed and activated GetGenie core and Genie SEO plugins. Also, you have an active license.

Now, navigate to your WordPress Dashboard → Get Genie → Genie SEO Insights → Pages → Low Hanging Fruits.

On this page, you can select the date ranges for which you want to get the low-hanging fruits data. There are options to select ranges, including –

• 7 dias
• 30 days
• 90 days
• 6 months
• Last month
• and Custom.

You can also compare these with –

• Previous period
• Previous year
• and Custom.

After selecting the dates and compare period, hit the Go button.

You will find out the low-hanging fruit data. It shows the Keywords and Top Pages. It also shows their Position, Clicks, and Impressions and the differences with the compare period you selected. If you want to find information about any specific page or keyword if they are in the low-hanging fruits, you can utilize the searchbox under Download button.

You can also download the list of pages and the keywords they are ranked for, along with relevant information as XLSX and CSV. You can also copy them in the clipboard and paste them anywhere you want.

Now, the question comes: What should you do with this information?

The answer is simple – you need to optimize these pages for that specific keyword. You can take help from your SEO plugins like RankMath or Yoast SEO for this. Basic optimization includes adding –

• Your keyword in the Headings, Page Title, Meta Description, and URL.
• A meaningful number of Internal links.
• A decent amount of External links from high-ranking websites.

Finally, you always need to keep your content up to date. If it still doesn’t rank, you need to work on the content quality.
