How to Find Semantic Keywords #
Let’s assume that you are logged into your WordPress site and your GSC account is connected to Genie SEO.
Input Your Main Keyword #
First of all, navigate to GetGenie and click “Keyword Research” from the menu. Now, enter your focus keyword in the specified field. Shortly after that, your main keyword as well as secondary keywords will show up with their monthly search volume and competition.
Navigate to the Semantic Keywords Tab #
The secondary keywords will appear in 3 different tabs-
- Related Keywords
- NLP Keywords
- Semantic Keywords
Click the “Semantic Keywords” tab, and all the Semantic keywords related to your main keyword will appear in 2 columns shortly. The keywords appearing will follow the descending order (In terms of search volume) from left to right.
Expand Your Semantic Keywords #
Click each of the Semantic keywords to get further data. If you are a free version user, you can’t access all the data except the monthly search volume, competition, and CPC.
However, if you are a Premium version user, you can access other important keyword data. The data types include Google Trends, search volume trends, last month’s & average 12 months’ searches, and the highest & lowest searches recorded in a single month during the last year.
This is how you can discover semantic keywords as well as their key details easily and then optimize them on your website with value-rich content. This will help search engines understand the context and display your content for relevant queries effectively.
