GetGenie Year in Review 2025 – Expanding with Changing Trends

GetGenie witnessed great success and growth in 2025. With new exciting features and numerous notable achievements, the WordPress AI Content & SEO tool made big leaps toward industry prominence. 

However, some instances presented us with challenges that needed immediate attention and action. But we tackled every challenge with determination & resilience. And here we are in 2026, looking to rewrite the rules of the game. 

Before we embark on our journey in 2026, let’s recap  the most memorable moments and milestones of 2025.

GetGenie’s Notable Growth

The AI WordPress plugin noticed fantastic upturn in its downloads and active installations. The active installs grew around 500% more than last year. Also, new features were added to help users create optimized content much more easily and quickly.

New Powerful Features 

SEO Insights og Søgeordsforskning features marked the beginning of GetGenie’s new expansion into different content domains. From being a prolific AI content writer, the tool is now an effective SEO analyzer. 

The SEO Insights feature lets you analyze and understand how your website is performing in the SERP, against other competitors. It provides historical organic data from Google so you can track and optimize your website’s SEO performance. 

Along with it, Søgeordsforskning strengthens your keyword efforts. You can find Related, NLP, Semantic keywords and a Topical Map to optimize your content & enhance your SERP ranking chances.

Notable Recognitions

GetGenie won the top spot as Best WordPress AI Plugin in this Monster’s Award 2025. It raced past other competitors in the list, receiving a whopping 71% of votes. 

The WordPress AI SEO & Content Tool also ranked in 2nd spot for the Best WordPress Marketing Plugins category. The two recognitions solidified its popularity as a top WordPress plugin.

GetGenie also proudly secured the 1st Place (Gold) in the Best AI Tools category at the WP Weekly Awards 2025!

In 2025, we inaugurated our beautiful new office in Shewrapara, Dhaka, Bangladesh.

The workplace is designed to foster creativity, collaboration, and innovation. We celebrated the opening with a grand program, welcoming our team, partners, and friends. A memorable start to our next chapter.

WordCamp Spotlights

We attended and sponsored numerous WordCamp events this year. These connected us to the WordPress community, through sharing insight, and learning from industry peers. These experiences strengthened our community engagement and inspired future product ideas.

WordCamp Dhaka 2025

We shined at WordCamp Dhaka 2025 as a Gold Sponsor! We contributed to the event. Our CEO, M Ataur Rahman, delivered a keynote speech at the event. We also had the opportunity to connect and communicate with the attendees. 

WordCamp US 2025

Our CEO and CMO proudly attended WordCamp US 2025. They engaged with the global WordPress community and connected with industry leaders. The experience offered meaningful conversations and a forward-looking view of the future of WordPress.

WordCamp Malaysia 2025

Our CMO, Mainul Kabir Aion, and one of our beloved senior colleagues attended WordCamp Malaysia 2025. They represented the team on a global stage and exchanged ideas with the community. Along with gaining valuable insights from the event.

Other Key Memories & Moments of GetGenie 

We focused on more innovation, stronger team bonds, greater results, and better productivity in 2025. It started with an inspiring Annual Day Tour introducing Roxnor Orbit, followed by the new office inauguration program as mentioned above, presence at WordCamps across the world, in-house tournaments, and Annual Retreat 2025. 

Roxnor Orbit 

At the start of the year, we went on our Annual Day Tour named Roxnor Orbit. We played games, shared great food, celebrated well-deserved award winners, and wrapped it up with profit sharing from the company. 

Looking Down from the Top of Bandarban

We went on our Annual Retreat in November 2025 to the hilly region of Bandarban, Chattogram. It was full of adventures and rides, as we went up to one of the highest peaks of Bangladesh, Kreokradong. Traveling and exploring different spots of this elevated area, four days just breezed past, giving us the much-need year end retreat.  

Quarterly Townhalls

The town hall meetings in 2025 helped us present team progress, performances, and plans. These also created a platform for open communication, idea sharing, and reflection on our achievements. The interactions helped align our goals and foster a collaborative work culture.

Driving Ahead – 2026 & Beyond

What an incredible year it was for GetGenie and the team! Everyone involved with the brand, whether it’s our dedicated team or loyal customers and subscribers, played a vital role in making 2025 a year of expansion and achievement.
